For a long time, I wanted to make a film about the challenges that come with moving away from my hometown and growing up trying to find my place in this world.

I grew up in Oslo, Norway, longing for somewhere else to call home.

​

At the same time as I found that place in California, I realized it wasn't all what I thought it was.

​

There were parts I fell in love with, but also parts I didn't align with. I understood that I couldn't have it all, and the challenge became trying to balance it all.

Finding my place was about so much moe than just figuring out where to live. It's about feeling like I matter in this world and feeling like I deserve to be hapy
